Dr. 文晶谢 is an Associate Professor and Director of the Integrated 市场营销 沟通 graduate program within the School of 沟通 and the Arts. Her research revolves around the uses and effects of emerging communication technologies. Her work has been published in various peer-reviewed journals and books.

凯文·米. 勒纳

Dr. 勒纳 is an Assistant Professor of 新闻 here at Marist whose research and interests focus on the intellectual history of journalism through press criticism, 讽刺, 和杂志. He has been published in The 纽约 Times, The 华盛顿 Post, 纽约 Magazine.

Jen伊甸园

Dr. Eden specializes in the fascinating area of the “dark side” of interpersonal interactions such as stalking, 暗恋, 流言蜚语, dysfunctional relational maintenance, 压碎, 和网络欺凌. While completing her PhD, she spearheaded a cyberbullying research team that partnered with the 亚利桑那州 Attorney General’s Office.

在圣母, we dedicate ourselves to providing hands-on learning opportunities for all of our students. From presenting advertising campaigns to real clients to participating in a bustling newsroom, students in each concentration develop a competitive edge of industry experience upon entering their chosen field after graduation.

 

  • In 沟通 Campaign 管理, public relations students visit nonprofit organizations in the community, research their client’s situation, and develop strategic communication campaigns for them.
  • 广告 students compete in the American 广告 Federation’s National Student 广告 Competition, during which they create a strategic advertising/marketing/media campaign that is pitched to a corporate client.
  • In 中心领域, sports communication students simulate the sports desk of a newsroom by covering Marist varsity and club sports in depth as credentialed reporters and editors.
